So I've got something to tell you. Don't freak out...but Pie Corps has opened a store in Greenpoint. It's on Driggs and Monitor, it's beautiful and it's got me all messed up inside.You may recognize some of these pies from the Hester Street Fair and New Amsterdam Market, but I recognize them from my dreams. It's almost that time of year again, when people dress up their adorable dogs in costumes and parade them through McGolrick Park. It's the HALLOWEEN DOG PARADE! Presented by District Dog it is the one day a year where we can all stare at other people's dogs in public for very long periods of time...we might even get to pet them(OH JOY!). This parade makes me feel like a kid in a candy store except the candy's for my eyes and instead of actual candy it's adorable dogs. I'll see you there, October 28th!

What can I say about you that hasn't already been said? I really like that I can use you everyday without feeling like someone slapped me in the face slowly with sandpaper. I love that even though you cost $50 a bottle I've gotten more than my money's worth and have so much more of your sweet, powdery nectar to use.I appreciate your cylindrical shape and simple, sleek design. Lastly, I love that you're available at Freckle and that all I need to do to get you from your bottle to my face is come to work with at least $51.

I love the classy housewares at Le Grenier, so much that they make me kinda hungry. I don't know if that  means I actually want to eat them or the classiness is so great that it makes me regress to the childhood behavior of wanting to put everything in my mouth.

Lay off me I'm starving...

Jelly Doughnut Muffin from Ovenly

I know this blog is about skin care and the like, but it's also about lady business. Since food is everybody's business(including ladies) I'm gonna talk about it.

To the right is a Jelly Doughnut Muffin from Ovenly. Ania(Freckle's owner) has been really into this place since it opened this past May, which is completely understandable because they put jelly AND doughnuts in their muffins. And that's crazy. It's in Greenpoint near Transmitter park(below), another new spot that's becoming very popular. All this to say, you should head over there and get yourself some snacks and some outside.
